My eyes were drawn to the perforated panel on the rear door glass. I saw the “K” so assumed it as something for transporting dogs, or something.
Then I saw the fuel filler door said “K7" and noticed the panel also said “K7"
Confused, I looked it up and discovered that they named the Cadenza the K7 in South Korea.
So, I have two questions:
Did I just witness my first ever “SKDM, YO!?”
What the hell is that on the window supposed to be?

Yes. Now that they don’t suck, KDM is totally a thing.

A cop who parks in the same garage as me at work has a Kia with KDM badges and stuff on it. I think he himself is Korean, so it's kinda cool.

I see an Optima with just K5 badging parked every morning. I always just sort of assumed that Kia was doing the Genesis thing now.

I do like the Korean-market Kia badges better that the ones they use here, even if it does sort of look like a rotated Mazda logo. I wonder why they don’t make the switch?
